Junior Middle School
These three important years of education lead to the completion of the Chinese National Curriculum while at the same time providing the foundations for study in the Senior School and preparation for university.
Lessons are practical and discursive. The Chinese National Curriculum will continue to be integrated with international curriculum, and draws on the best aspects of both, whilst reflecting the Westminster ethos. Our integrated curriculum not only meets pupils’ academic needs, but also recognises their personal and social development at this critical time as they enter adolescence.
Small classes, comprising pupils with a range of strengths, abilities and backgrounds, allow for a full range of experiences and opinions to enhance robust, informed debate. There is increasing choice available in the selection of co-curricular activities, recognition of both pupils’ growing ability to make decisions and their own independence.
