News | Another Year of Superb Results

August 15th was A Level examination results day. For the tenth year in a row, pupils at Westminster School have secured A* or equivalent in over half their grades, maintaining Westminster’s reputation as the only school in the United Kingdom to have seen over 50% A* every year (since the grade was first introduced). The figure for 2019 is an outstanding 55.47%.

One other headline to note: at A-level/Pre-U, 84 out of 195 pupils achieved at least 3 A*s (a record), 36 of whom achieved 4 A*s.

These results reflect the consistent high levels of academic excellence achieved by Westminster pupils, which enables them to gain places on courses at the world’s leading universities.
